Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-09-26
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of mdseal. The sale of paid plans is covered by a separate document: the terms of sale.
Using mdseal constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. The service
3. Account and keys
Opening an account requires accurate information. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials and the API keys issued to their account confidential.
Any operation performed with a valid key is deemed to originate from the account holder. A key is never stored in clear text: it is shown once, at creation. A lost or compromised key is revoked from the account area — it cannot be recovered.
4. Acceptable use
The following are prohibited:
- circumventing quotas, in particular by creating multiple accounts;
- any use that degrades the availability of the service for others;
- processing manifestly unlawful content;
- reselling the service as-is.
5. Availability
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
6. Suspension
The publisher may suspend an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or use that harms the service. Except in cases of urgency or manifest unlawfulness, suspension is preceded by notice to the account address.
7. Liability
mdseal is a tool. Responsibility for the content, accuracy and legal effect of the documents processed lies with the user.
8. Changes
Any substantial change is notified to account holders, at the address on file, before it takes effect.
